ABOUT DR. PUNEET MALHOTRA

Dr Puneet Malhotra is a highly experienced UK Trained Doctor with over 15 years of medical practice who has just joined us at Epping North Medical Centre as a full time General Practitioner.

He obtained his medical degree in India, and continued his training in the UK where he worked in multiple specialities (Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology) before taking up GP training. Very soon after starting as a GP he progressed to become the Clinical Director in one of the busiest Hospitals of UK. With his vision and leadership qualities he helped set up a new Urgent Care Walk in Centre and took it to a reputable level.  In addition to this he was also working as the Clinical Director of Leicestershire GP out of Hours services. He was very much involved in teaching of young GPs, GP registrars, Nurse practitioners, Paramedic practitioners and medical students.

In addition to his MRCGP and FRACGP, he has also obtained a diploma in sexual and reproductive health, diploma in Royal College of Gynaecology & Obstetricians & Post graduate diploma in Healthcare Leadership.

Despite his busy schedule, he continued to work as a GP in a city practice where he kept the patient care at the heart of his consultations.

He has special interest in Emergency care, women’s health including subdermal implant, pregnancy related issues, sexual health, minor surgeries and chronic disease management.

He is an accredited Hepatitis B & C treatment prescriber

Dr Malhotra is passionate in delivering a high standard of care to all his patients.  He is multilingual and consultations will be available in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

When Puneet is not working he enjoys spending time with his young family and is a keen photographer and loves cycling.
